Imposter Game: Malayalam Party

The Imposter Game by Abin Mathew is a fun and engaging party game for Indian mobile users. It's a Malayalam word game where players try to figure out who's bluffing by asking questions and giving answers. What makes it unique is that every category, word, and clue was built specifically for Malayalis, using references that are relatable and familiar. The game was playtested with real friend groups across Kerala to ensure the word list is neither too generic nor too obscure. It's perfect for game nights with friends, family gatherings, or anyone looking for a word game that feels authentic and fun. The goal is to survive the vote by blending in, making it a challenging and addictive experience.

The Malayalam party game your friend group has been waiting for.

You've probably played Imposter before. Someone gets a different word, everyone asks questions, and you try to figure out who's bluffing.
It's a great game, except when the location is "Opera House" and nobody at the table has ever been within 500 kilometres of one.
Imposter Game - Malayalam Edition fixes that.
Every category, every word, every clue in this game was built for Malayalis. Not translated. Not adapted. Built from scratch, with the kind of references that only make sense if you grew up watching the same films, eating the same food, and arguing about the same things.

What makes it different:
The word list went through real playtesting with real friend groups across Kerala before anything made it into the game. Too generic and the game loses its edge. Too obscure and half the table goes quiet. Every word is in that sweet spot, familiar enough to play with, specific enough to catch someone out.

How to play:
One player gets a different word from everyone else. Everyone asks questions, gives answers, and tries to figure out who's the imposter, without giving away their own word. The imposter tries to blend in long enough to survive the vote. Simple to explain. Hard to win. Impossible to stop playing.

Made for:
1. Game nights with your friend group
2. Family gatherings (Onam, Vishu, Christmas, Weddings, you know how it goes)
3. Anyone who's tired of word games that feel like they were made for someone else
