Driver: Dash Cam & Trip Log

The Android app "Driver" by Driver Technologies Inc. helps Indian mobile users track their drives and improve their driving habits. This app turns your phone into a dual-camera dash cam and trip log, automatically recording drives and backing them up to the cloud. With AI coaching, it detects incidents such as hard braking, speeding, and near-misses, providing you with a DriverScore and trends to watch your habits improve. You can share trip URLs with insurance, work, or family, and even earn rewards for eligible trips. The app also captures mileage, speed, and vehicle data, making it a convenient and safe driving companion. With a user-friendly interface and cloud backup, your storage space is freed up, and you can easily review or share your trips from any device.

Turn your phone into a dash cam and trip log. Driver auto-records drives, backs them up to Driver Cloud, and coaches you with AI — on mobile, Android Auto, and Android Automotive.

4.6 stars from 19,000+ drivers on the App Store and Google Play who wanted proof, mileage, and safer habits without buying a separate camera.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Dash cam recording that turns your phone into a dual-camera recorder (road + cabin on supported devices)
• Automatic trip logging with duration, distance, speed, and location
• AI incident detection and coaching: hard braking, rapid acceleration, speeding, near-misses, and more
• DriverScore and trends so you can watch habits improve
• Driver Cloud backup — share a trip URL with insurance, work, or family
• Driver Rewards: limited by location and membership. After an approved application, eligible trips can earn Points you redeem for gift cards, deposit, or merch
• Uploaded trips come off the phone after they reach Driver Cloud, so they don't fill your storage
• Background recording while you use maps or music, including Android Auto
• Android Automotive telematics: mileage, speed, G-force, and vehicle data captured from the car

HOW IT WORKS
1. Open Driver on your phone or in the car
2. Each trip is logged and, on mobile, recorded as dash cam video
3. Trips upload to Driver Cloud so you can review or share them from any device

WHY DRIVERS SWITCH
• No extra dash cam hardware to buy or wire
• Dual-camera and cloud backup instead of an SD card you cannot find after a crash
• Pocket-friendly trip logs when you are not recording video
• Optional Premium extras like extended cloud look-back and U.S. roadside assistance
